A Silly Poem About Grammar

You may learn something, but probably not... Who knows?

An interesting thought, Though like it you may not,Is the fact that a writer,Could be much shiter......Without proper use of grammar. And if it was illegal you’d be in the slammer,For using incorrect fucking grammar,So just be thankful, when you miss that commaThat you won’t be put in an everlasting coma.Respect the comma,To tame the coma,Love the semicolon,But spare the colon:Too many of these and you’ll be no lon(ger).Us...

The Silliest Poem Ever

I'm serious, this poem is really silly. You probably shouldn't take it very seriously.

 Gimmie a lineand I’ll make it shine.Gimmie a mineand I’ll make it bine.Wait, what? I’ll make it bine?Time I end this rhyme,Or else, I fear, it will ‘come a crime,Don’t whine. Just mime,Shuddery shudder, don’t dare mime,you’ll scare me totally out my mind.Was that last line far too long?I don’t care, take a bong!Dong.Key.Kong. Y’okay, I’m off,Wanna toff......Ee?

The Camel Poem

A silly poem written a while ago. Thanks to SugarBaby for the cover photo.

Oh camel, oh camel,Wouldst thou believeThat you are not a mammal? You are not a cannibal either, it seems,So, what the fuck are you? A contortionist, I’d wager,Passing through the eye of that needle.Does that not hurt?..He’s gonna spurt!Oh my, oh me, oh eee!The bastard, he spat, he spat on me!The lesson here is do not arguewith a camel,or you will be, one spat upon mammal!

Caution: Never Walk Upon Light

Just being irritating

I feel like walking on a rainbow. I walk, I tred lightly, but suddenly I fall right through it. It is light, for goodess sake, I cannot walk upon light! I feel like a fool, but then, out of nowhere, an angel sweeps me up. I am returned to my cloud and I feel like walking on a rainbow. I walk, I tred lightly, but suddenly I fall. Light is a stupid thing to try and walk upon! Thanks go to Poppet for inspiring me and for fin...

Random Poem

It just happened, no reason, very little rhyme.

I’m starting with a line,Moving on to another,And here’s a third,Why not a fourth? This poem, or whatever it may be,Really makes no sense,But, really, don’t think me dense,I’m about as dense as a fence.A fence with nails in,What a lovely fence,I think it’s immense,Oh beautiful fence!I wanted to use hence,But I have no reason,I’m thinking of a season...Winter, it is so lovely,I love the cold, The wet, but no wind.Wind is ho...

My Inspiration...

...is somewhat wonky

Is this a poem?I often wonder.Related statements,on one line and another, does that, fundamentally,a poem make?I take my time,I think of a rhyme I post it hereand drink a beer.It rhymes, it scans, but, really, it has no plans.Where will it all end, and am I completelyaround the bend? Will my words, my silly words, rend the reader to think they're turds? The words, that is,not the reader...Are my words, just silly turds? And sha...

A Musing of Assorted Assortments

Unfiltered stuff from my mind. Read with caution, laugh with abandon.

Ugh, my nose is blocked, my throat is slightly sore, I feel lethargic and oh yes, I can’t even taste my wine. This really sucks. Sucks more than those folk who don’t know how to use hence. Oh, those fools. Hence. It’s a useful word. It can be used to mean “for this reason”, or to mean “in x amount of time.” Okay, the second one, I didn’t explain very well, but the examples will help, won’t they? Example one: For this reas...

The Frog With The Silly Grin

A warm heart, wins true love.

Goronwy was a handsome frog, but wore a silly grin. I do know how he came by it, but where shall I begin?  I think I should begin, with, the story from the start.  To start at the beginning, perhaps, would break your heart.  Goronwy loved to frolic, in the Lilly pond, but one day, he was curious, and ventured far beyond. He`d heard a female calling, many miles away. Her voice was sweet and wonderful, and led Goronwy astra...

That feeling you get, it’s inexplicable. I’m gonna try and explic it. I laughed out loud at that. Why, if something is not explainable, do we say it’s inexplicable and then when we go to explain it, we’re explaining it, not explicing it? Seems odd to me.I digress though. I do that all the time. I’m silly with my digressions. I think I think too much... You think? I’m listening to Nirvana unplugged right now. Happy, I am....

A Random Rambling

Things from my head...

I hate those times when you want to write something, but either have no drive, or no ideas. You open a word document and just type for the sake of typing. Or if you’re a fan of pen and paper, you do it that way. You have no idea if you’re gonna come up with something good or just a bunch of words strung together. Sometimes, it’s amazing, you actually find that there’s something about just writing your thoughts about havin...

A Ramble Through my Mind

Take a trip, see what goes through my crazy little head.

Bread and butter. It’s simple and beautiful in its simplicity. It is one of those things that always comes through in a pinch. Whenever I’m hungry and there’s nothing else, I make myself a bit of bread and butter and it makes me happy. It’s the simple things that make me happy and you don’t get much simpler than bread and butter. I had some amazing bread a while ago. It was salt and pepper French bread. I wasn’t too keen o...
