The Dream Maker from Oz

sit and tell me your dream

This tale begins with warm western breezes pushing thru the land called Oz. The land of Oz was well known for the mystical people who call it home. People would come from afar to take consult from a ancient wise man.  This man a true ancient in Oz, with dark twinkling eyes, and a beard the colour of deep north snow. Each day he would sit in the warm sun in front of the local tavern. He was known as the Dream Maker of Oz....

The Woods

Look inside yourself for answers....

Running through the woods trying to get away but never seem able too. I'm searching looking for something some kind of answers. But the further I go the more lost I feel. Following this path then that but none feels quite right. It getting darker but I know it's still early. What should I do? I stop in my tracks and close my eyes as I stand really still. I start looking within myself Hearing a calm voice say"The answers w...

Harness The Wind

The woman I love is like the wind. She calls me smoke because I give her substance.

Mysterious, powerful, relaxing, adjectives describing the wind. It’s everywhere and nowhere. So perplexing! It’s will, no man dare rescind. It refreshes more than sun or seas when it chooses to wear its outer breeze. Just as quickly it dons its wrapping glove, enveloping all with winds of love. It has neither shape nor substance true. But when it chooses to blow on you, refreshment comes as morning dew and dries your brow...

In The Beginning

Love is the sweetest gift.....

When you came into my life, I wasn't prepared for what I found. You seemed to be hurt and deeply in pain and I felt a need to reach out a hand to help. After offering you friendship and a supportive, caring ear. Only to be reminded and told we had met in a different time and place. Stunned and shocked we talked more as the truth was gently disclosed. You took my hand gently in yours, and it touched my heart. Looking deepl...

Our Cabin!

The sky was a burst of beautiful colours

I arrived late in the afternoon. Placing my bag in our room, I walked out onto the veranda. The sky was a burst of beautiful colours - oranges, pinks and purples. Oh, what a beautiful sight. The redwood table outside was set for two with candles flickering all around. The aroma that filled the air like vanilla and raspberries smelled oh, so sweet. Hearing the clinking of glasses I turned and looked around, smiling at what...

I L Y!

Love you baby..

I close my eyes and begin thinking of you Longing to walk along the beach and dance in the waves, Or maybe lay on the sand, just holding hands. Views of the sunset, as we sit and eat dinner Each dreaming of later. You are my world, all the stars in the sky Opening my heart, as I truly love you Unconditionally for now and forever.

Watching the rain spattering on the panes Hearing the thunder in the distance It is the sound of hope At last. Soon the crocuses and the daffodilsWill burst through the fecund soil And the gardens will bloomOnce more. Sitting in the theater while they dance We see the young ones riseUp into their futuresOn point. It is the time for living and loving againThe time for singing out loudAs the songbirds build nestsIn trees. Y...

Asleep I stray to crystalline woodlands Down moonlit paths bestrewn with jeweled sands In search of the Lady who wears the crown My precious Princess to whom I bow down. Her palace is made of sapphire and jadeTo Her your life has been lovingly made She cares not for the sins you are confessingWith a pearl like smile She bestows her blessing. Upon Her throne of topaz and turquoise Her beauty transcendent with grace and poi...

Let's Fight

Looking into myself

As I stand here I think to myself,"Let's fight," looking into your eyesI want to scream, "You can't take everything!"But I think to myself, This won't helpAnd as I sit down,All my fight disappearsI look at you as I start to cry,As you walk awayI let you go,And I look deep insideI'm not afraid of youI stand my ground as you tear me downPiece by piece I build myself up,Standing toe to toeMeeting your eyes,I begin to smileY...

Waking Up

It just sounds like a pleasant way to wake up

We’re lying in bed together and awake the same time as one another. Lazily and sleepily, our lips lock and we kiss softly. Breaking the kiss, we say “good morning”. Mewing to each other, we hug and hold tight, weaving a spell around each other. Our mornings always start off like this, followed by the natural progression, of course. Though only a fictional fantasy just now, I think I can safely speak for both of us, when I...

Rambling rovers we may well beThe world is ours to roam, you seeTo spend our lives in ecstasyEnjoying life so gay and free. That was the map we made beforeTo travel wide from shore to shoreAnd open every secret doorEach hidden path we would explore. The future may be blocked by fateAnd something might just close the gateYour given span may be too straitTomorrow's plan may come too late. Live now and know that you have won...

Piddling With A Hainted Heart

Piddling: [Intransitive verb] to waste; to dawdle or trifle; to piddle the time away. A euphemism.

Just because she doesn't cry,  Doesn’t mean a thing.  What she’s piddling with  Is a hainted heart. Sometimes tears  Can't cause a river  Deep enough for a woman  To dip her haint of a heart in  --Not when she has lived too long  In such a short time. What is the purpose of a tear  If not to soothe? A woman can grow dry  Inside  Like burnt leaves,  Discarded among dead roots  Of hollow trees  Leaning naked in the wind.  N...

The chill sets in whenever I approach, It's been that way since she lost faith in me. However much I try there's still reproach. This cannot be the way it's meant to be. Forgiveness now would be a kindly actFor what our love has been to her and me,Because my faith in her remains intactAnd she must see how great our love would be. It all began with something that was doneThat cut her heart and caused her doubt in me.It was...
