Children's voices sound out loud
I hear their merry laughter
't sounds like they're running after
Eachother while they shout

They're playing hide and seek
I see them hunt eachother
Without having to bother
About what comes next week

They'll soon be called inside
To wash and to be fed
And then they're off to bed
Where they'll be safe at night

Let's keep them safe from sorrow
For they are our tomorrow
