There once was a blue skeleton in a closet
Who had a blue bucket full of goo
A curious cat fell in the vat
And became blue too
The cat was shocked
I'm wet
I'm gooey
I'm blue
So the cat did the only thing the cat could
He flew
He flew out of the bucket
And out of the closet too
With a glowing blue streak
He bounced off the ceiling
Painting the bedroom all blue
He rubbed a streak down the hallway wall
He left tracks down the stairway banister
He splattered all over the bookshelves
He repainted all the family photographs
He walked with stiff legs to the shower
A leaky tub drip didn't clean him
He rolled in the dirty towels
And in the clean ones
He loped into the kitchen
And left blue goo all over the counter
And the stove
And the clean and dirty dishes
And he left the kitchen sink water running
He didn't like water
He went to the laundry room and crawled in the dryer
And rolled around in the clothes that were there
A dryer sheet got stuck to his rump
And a clump of blue came off on a shirt sleeve
The blue cat was getting tired
And sticky and spiky
And dejected about being blue
So he too a nap on the sofa
He thought that the couch looked better
With a nice even pattern
So he rolled around a bit too
Then it was back to the closet
To have a nice chat with the skeleton
Out came unsheathed claws
Scratch, scratch, scratch, scratch
He sharpen his claws on it's tibia and fibula
He bit a metacarpal too
That's what you get for sharing your blue
The moral of the story
If there is one
Is that this cat doesn't want to be blue with you
