I really hate to be under the weather
I've been sneezing all day
My sinuses feel stuffed with pressure
I feel sick in every way

I've had a fever of a hundred and three
And have had a lot of chills
The fever goes down by a degree
I'm taking my prescription pills

Lots of tissues being used
And lots of water being drank
I'm really not amused
I feel like such a crank

My head hurts from my headache
And my cough hurts my chest
Teeth are chattering but I'm awake
This makes me feel depressed

I hope tomorrow I will feel better
Although my throat is very sore
It's summer but I'm wearing a sweater
I really can't take much more

Hoping to get a good nights sleep
And maybe tomorrow I'll feel okay
I plan to count lots of sheep
Hoping this goes away
