I watch you from the distance

slicing  the air with your sword with grace

and wielding it with incredible agility

my heart pounds at your presence

but can you feel me 

droplets of water from the mist

run down my face as I continue my intense surveillance

needing your arms around me

knowing it isnt possible and time slips 

into a new dimension where things are better 

than they are and you look at me 

my heart stops and my body tenses

as everything in me is on fire for you

I hear the sword swishing through the air

and  want to feel your lips on mine

as your eyes pierce me deeply and intensely

as your sword becomes part of you

both of us overtaken with the moment

the incredible electricity between us

becomes too much to bear

and we both sink down to our knees

our hands reaching out to each other

forbidden love

never to be one in reality

but only in our dreams

our hearts beating like a distant drum

the sword drops by your side

and we share  loves embrace

gazing lovingly at each other before the setting sun.
