A person looks fine with Bipolar
Except they have highs and lows
They lose all their composure
Their moods come, and they go

One day they're on a manic high
In a minute they could crash
Thoughts of death and suicide
These feeling happen in a flash

Most like to self-medicate
Their medications bring them down
This is genetic and is their fate
No smiles and only frowns

Their moods are all over the place
Yet they're very creative people
They tend to be lost in space
Their moods are often very lethal

Just give them lots of hugs
Tell them it'll be okay
Beg them to take their drugs
Tomorrow is always another day

* So many people have been diagnosed with this condition. I have several friends that have been diagnosed with Bi-polar issues.
