I was walking alone Lady Moon high above

Guiding my steps leading the way

The Sky was dark Black as tar

The only light was her shimmering Love

She looked at me with a watchful eye

As I sat on the Sand, hands covering my face

Distraught and Restless, as I cried

My Heart was empty, sad and worn

My days were null and full of pain

My Soul was Shattered and Torn

My nights were Sleepless and in Vain

My eyes quickly changed from hazel to green

As sadness and grief overwhelmed me

The Moon being the Generous Lady she is

Granted me a heartfelt wish

For She listened to my plea of finding just one

One that would understand and cherish my Love

This One would be Kind, Loving, Compassionate and True

And so She traveled thorough the Sky, Across the Ocean wide

With a twist and many turns, lead my steps to You 

 Lady Moon now Smiles each night as my eyes are no longer green

She is Joyous as I am too

For my wish of finding a Soul like You, has come true.
