A time then came
When doubt forged a name
Alone at the desk, I blankly stare at this mess
A vision so blurry, unlike before
Decades of writing, the world has not seen
Years of injustice, finally in retreat
No more will I stay
Mentally driven, wounded heart at bay
A glance to the left
A smile received
The next thing I knew
It was a dream come true
Though at times, stuck, a heart withdrew
This message I hold, is not mine no more
This love I share, has more to bare
A sweetened touch, a miracle to most
But what I desire, is dark like toast
My days and nights, the gatherings social
The strain it leaves on my rocky shores
Now smiles at me as it dims my lights
Tempting me, thwarting me
A scripture I've written, propagation under-way
First in your tongue shall I make it read, Say:
''I am the Master of my destiny and from this
Path will I not stray''
I shall reach that place, I pray
For no-one else sees the wounds on which My burden lay
Then there came a moment in my darkening day
Some word from a stranger... PING!
That was perhaps the effect it had.
It didn't look that good but it wasn't that bad

But a message from a stranger right then
Seemed like all I had
And, PING!
Out of my buzz was I stung by the plea
Heart awakening the blood of me
By memory of a dream
The promise of destiny
This is my reality, don't you all see
