My favorite author at the moment is Dan Brown and Danielle steel.
Is writing the first thing you did? Or did someone influence you to do so? I guess many successful writers find writing not their first love, maybe some of them just have it as an accident hobby and turn out to be a fine craft.
DirtyMartini: Can I ask a favor? Do you have any book in mind that I could read to get some notes in it?.. Thanks!
What do you think of a story without any love affair? I just wanted to know your, it just pop up in my head now.
As reader I do prefer the ones that were broken down into short chapters because my eyes won’t get tires of reading. But sometimes if the story is interesting a don’t care whether its long or short as long as it eats up my curiosity and my excitement is boost.
Just recently my best friend treats me a meal for the very first time, for 15 years! It’s cool, bonding with my BFF.
fifafan: Yummy! Super delicious...
One thing by One Direction… in my head playing
My thing is, having a glass of water and my favorite blue eyeglasses on.
I think I am improving as a writer. I would always think of improving myself though so that I could create a good story. I sometimes commit the same mistake but at least it’s not the totality of the error, a part of it tough. I am influence by the books I read so that sometimes, I do seldom read and write afterwards. I took my schedule in reading and writing separately.
When choosing a book to read, I’m not into having the ones that does have a good cover or the one that attracts me. I always look into its genre and its author. I always read its synopsis, seeking if that story would interest me and thus I would decide to have my own copy of which.
I read different genre of books but the ones that interest me the most are suspense, thriller and mystery. Those books just give me goose bumps and increase my adrenalin while reading. I also like guessing the next scenes and the characters who reveals to be the traitor. I love the excitement.
Authors do fail because their readers were not moved. There are missing factors in their story that their readers are looking for. The thing is that, authors who do experience these stuffs should not stop from writing; rather they must develop what they have and be much open to criticisms because this would make them a better writer. Failure is not an option, it’s a motivation.
