sometimes people care so much it scares them to feel as deeply as they do. They cover up their feelings for fear of rejection or any countless reason., others see it as a weakness. some cant put feelings in words. the drinking was another way not to face a fear for me. thanks sis why do we hurt people we love and not mean too??
It's a matter of perception of what love is to a lover. And love is purely subjective. As for me, the greatest and most loving act we could give someone is by letting them be themselves and accepting every bit of them. Simply giving them the freedom to do what they love and what makes them happy. Sometimes we think that feeling jealous or showing possessiveness is love but it isn't. Love without hurting someone is only possible when you are real, you are authentic, and you are absolutely aware of your being.

I'd rather be respected. Popularity wanes, and gets boring after a while. Respect is deeper than popularity, I think. It implies that people properly get to know you as a person, rather than just seeing the superficial.
