I am the kind of guy you meet every day. Just an average person trying to get through life, helping others when I can. I love to laugh and to make people laugh. I try to find a positive side to every situation. I've been blessed with three beautiful children who have blessed me even further with eight grandchildren. And the circle of life continues. I took a creative writing course years ago and discovered a world that I realized I had been trying to find for years. That was about twenty years ago now, and though my personal situation has changed considerably, my enjoyment of writing is still there. I have taught Creative Writing, written for a couple of smaller magazines and newspapers and have published a couple of poems.

Interests
Hmm, so many things interest me it's difficult to single any out. I suppose my family, my job and people in general are of interest to me. I am always interested in learning new things and meeting new people. I like to write short fiction stories and poetry.
Motorcycles have to be high on my list of interests, as do trucks. I've spent my entire career in the trucking industry and am still deeply fascinated by it.

Favorite Books
The works of William Shakespeare, Dracula, Frankenstein, Outlander, Tom Sawyer, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and so many more I can't even think of them all right now.

Favorite Authors
Well, based on the list of books, I'd say Shakespeare, Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, Diana Gabaldon, Mark Twain, Ken Follett, Steig Larsen.

Favorite Movies
Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, To Have and Have Not, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Uncle Buck, Vacation, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill I & II

Favorite TV Shows
NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles. CSI Lately I've started watching Master Chef and I enjoy the Discovery Channel

Favorite Music
I love Classic Rock, Blues, and Classical but will listen to anything. Music is an expression of feeling and emotion.
