A phone call  It changed our world  You were gone  How do we carry on  Without you   You were our rock  An anchor when  Life was a raging storm  You calmed our fears  Held us when our hearts were broken Now we will anchor and hold each other  We will grieve   But you taught us how to  Be brave  How to trust  We know Heaven is real We know we will see you again    

If my mother were still alive she would be 92 years old, twenty-six years my senior. Every Mother’s Day I fondly remember how well she took care of me. How she cooked and vacuumed and did my laundry and so many other things to keep our household going.
