All of our regrets will be gone
as soon as we have passed beyond.

Beyond the aches, the sorrows,
all will pass away.

But the love will live,
it simply will not die.

Is this understood my precious, darling, friends and lovers?

Is it understood, please, and thank you,
my treasured gems of life and joy,
am I not ever so polite?

Do you recall the way we walked,
the way we talked,
the way we cried.

The way you walked away
and left me wonderingly behind.

Do you recall,
for I cannot forget,
and will always regret the way you walked away.

Walked away into your new and pressing neverland of hope, of sorrow.

No. The regrets are left for the dead
someday to come.

Someday to come and they will all
pass away when we pass away,
we two.

Feeling the sadness dripping down
onto your long and delicate tresses,
lockets of hair so soaking wet with storm-tossed tears.

One last embrace, a lasting kiss of deprivation, defeat.

Our regrets. Our tears. Our loss.

There is no need. There is no need,
forever there will be even more love,
my friends, my darlings, my little chums,
my joys.

Always there will be love.

If we but open up, spread tranquility and share,
saying simply and truly, I love you.

Never fear my gentle beloved, tripping away down the alleyway
of the past, down gullies and gutters of rainy, dampened, cobbled distress.

Never fear.

I will not forget you my once upon a time love.

I remember and will never forget
as I remember and love all of my tender, sweet, gentle, adored darlings
of love.

And we whispered once upon a time soulmate.
