Today is that day when people abandon you

Things aren’t going your way

Your family is on your nerves

Your friends doubt you

You trust those and they embarrass you

No one takes you seriously

They look away from when you’re nobody

You trust your instincts, only to be led the wrong way

You hate to hear them say, “I told you so”

Especially from an old foe
