Above the mundane mortal plane
in which most men survive,
there soars an anointed regal clan
that’s guaranteed to thrive.

A group that eats the finest foods
whenever it fêtes and dines.
A crowd that wears the finest clothes
and drinks the finest wines.

A clan that goes in private jets
on fun-filled world hops.
A bunch that pockets billions,
all by playing Credit Default Swaps.

They are the investment bankers
that some loathe so much today.
No matter what happens to anyone else
their investments will always pay.

They use a method to insure their gains
that’s sweeter than milk and honey.
If they make profits they keep all the cash,
if not they take taxpayers’ money!

Their upside thus always pays very well
so their bank accounts always grow.
And their downside can really never occur
since it’s covered by the average Joe.

Are they rather selfish chaps
who exploit their fellow man?
Yes they are but still
we must forgive them if we can.

ARE THEY NOT JUST ROTTEN CROOKS
OR IS MINE A BASELESS RAIL?
THERE’S NO DOUBT THAT THEY TRULY ARE
AND MANY SHOULD BE IN JAIL.

AREN'T THEY JUST DISGUSTING DREGS
WHO LEECH OFF THE LABORS OF OTHERS?
YES AND WE’D PUT THEIR HEADS ON PIKES
IF ONLY WE HAD OUR DRUTHERS!!#$$!!

But alas they pull all the power strings
and thus get satisfaction.
Man I just wish I knew someone
and could get in on their action!
