From the moment he made you
to the moment I saw you ruined,
I always knew you were weak
and that you'd eventually be torn.
Your shield so small,
you couldn't keep it up front.
Your sword so short,
it refused to stay put.
Your armor so thin,
a needle was all it took
before you were lying in pieces upon the floor.
And yet I loved you for your flaws,
and so many there were.
But because you were mine,
I really couldn't care.
We went on adventures around the world,
saving people from all kinds of danger.
One day, you were a fire fighter;
the next, you were fighting a war.
One day, it was a damsel in distress;
the next, it was a village in a jungle.
But alas, you were only so strong,
and I wish I'd only realized sooner.
Now here you are at my feet
gone forever more.
