The “P” word

I don’t understand prejudice, don’t ask me to

I think it is negative and without value

I don’t have names for other folks

To ridicule them or make them a joke

Be they homosexual, lesbian or in-between

It is up to them how they will be seen

If they are of colour or from overseas

Let them live happy and free from sleaze

Just use the “P” word is what I propose

Prejudice a theme that we must oppose

This humble name this honest version

Collectively just “People” or singular a “Person”
