To me you are wonderful

So kind and caring

Who would do anything to help a friend

I think of you as my rock and confidant

Which is why this is so very hard

And hurts so much

Its been brought to my attention

That I am holding you back

Restricting your freedom

And monopolizing your time

Sure this could be pure jealousy

But just in case it is not, I made a decision.

I've always been told

That if you love something

You need to set it free

So that is just what I intend to do

You need to make your own choices

To live the life you dream of

And desire the most.

I will, however, hold onto hope

That one day soon that I will be

Someone you need too.
