Falling from the sky
Floating slowly down
So white, so light
Cold like ice
Making us warm inside
Gracefully falling
Falling on your face
Melting fast on your skin
Like ice on a warm summer day
Knowing only one thing
Standing there looking up in the sky
Slowly wondering, where you’ll go
How will it come again? When? Why?
So many questions about one simple thing that has no answers
Know only what you want
Forgetting your life and troubles
Standing there slowly sticking out your tongue
Remembering the last time it happened
Seeking in your mind, thinking, wondering
Loving every moment feeling its drops on your skin
Your warm yet it chills you
Bundled up in your clothes so tight, so warm, so good
It slows down, you want more
You want it to blast in your face like pressured air
You want it more than anything
You become selfish, stubborn, sad
Why did it go away, when will it come again, how?
You stand there thinking about the time
It's time to get back, you say
You think you don’t want to get back to life
That time was only you and the sky
The water now on your skin
The little water you swallowed
It never quenched your thirst
It never hurt you, why did it go away?
You just stand, watching, waiting…
