Through the eyes of a child,
The beauty you’ll see;
Of dapple grey ponies,
In fields of green,
And butterflies that fly,
Against a scarlet red sky.
In the heart of a child,
Emotions are real.
The joy and elation
At the sight of a rainbow.
The fear and the dread
Of a deep, darkened cave.
In the soul of a child,
Angels sing praises
Of glories untold.
Unicorns and fairies,
Dragons and goblins,
Can be found.
For in the soul of a child,
There lives God.
