Purple Darkness

Unabashed blood rainbow hues
Tossed in a sea of whittled news
A whiplash current, a greedy bear
Eats its fill within its lair.

Stomping fields of calves and thighs
Prance around with filtered eyes
One princess calls monks to her fold
Blue eyes flash, 'Do as you're told.'

Humping, whooping, the highest heels
Before her, a sallow beggar kneels
She bellows out false truths of starkness
Then reaches for the touch of darkness

This one here, of similar creed
Cannot smell but snores with need
Cold beneath a coat of virtue
Preaching love, but out to hurt you

All need the same, but no, not you
You're not on the list, it can't be true
Pain denied will pain enhance
And send you to a deathly dance

Third princess now, with a box of fruit
Kicks her spouse with an unthinking boot
A talent yes, more than the rest
But in willing cuffs of lies' arrest

Calling foulness there, and foulness here
Atop a pearly, lofty pier
While down below the heathen swirl
Save the countess, begone the earl

And all the time, the bear eats on
While false storms rage and all sense gone
He laughs and bites another carcass
As we grope for light in purple darkness
