Wandering through meadows in brightest sunlight,
Wading through flowers with colours so bright,
While butterflies flutter with shimmering wings.
This beauty around me is but a skin,
Over reality lying within,
That eyes cannot see, but are beautiful too.
The way that atoms arrange to allow,
Light to give colours to what we see now,
And life to the beings that dance all around.
The blue of the sky above me does hide,
Wonders of heaven that far up abide,
That night will reveal when light fades to black.
Forces and particles make this all work,
Foundational parts below beauty lurk,
A frame for the seen, that is always unseen.
We live in a world where beauty abounds,
Wonders of nature our whole lives surround,
Yet let us see more than this beautiful veil.
Beauty is not just a sight for our eyes,
Our Cosmos hides what makes beauty arise,
Our minds see the framework that makes it all so.
