She came into this world
Dramatic and loud
From the first moment I saw her

At seven months
She took off walking 
Never letting anything slow her down
Except maybe her talking

She talked in complete sentences 
Just under a year 
I should've known then 
She would talk off your ear

When she read a book
At age two
The doctors told me
There will be so much she can do

I learned quickly
She was a genius 
Beyond what I could ever imagine 
I couldn't keep up with this

She was my shadow 
Watching and learning
Gaining more confidence 
Her heart was burning

So many pieces of me
She made her own
I still see parts of me in her 
When we're alone

Nole girl you have touched my soul
And made me proud 
A beautiful woman 
Who stands out in the crowd

I will always be your biggest supporter
And stand beside you 
In all of your decisions 
And things you do
