She arrives home
logs into her computer
slowly her smile turns into a frown.

Her love has been trying to get her
leaving so many messages
as she keeps reading. 
She feels her eyes well with tears
as the messages, get sadder,
she feels his breaking heart.

If only she had not overslept
and been in such a rush
to get to her appointment.
Or had phone credit

she could have stopped all this
by responding to his message
before she left the house.

She logs into his profile
however he is not online.
Tears run down her cheeks
as she sends him a message,
then an email and waits
hoping he is just invisible.

Fifteen, thirty then an hour passes 
and still no reply. 

She worries he has given up
totally on her
then she looks at the clock
realizing it is late she sends one more message.

"I am so sorry Baby,
I know you are upset
and you think I’m mad...
However, Baby, you are my world
My everything,
I love you with all that I am
Heart and soul forever and always.”
