How does it feel?
To have one person
Interpret your words
Make a misinterpretation

That simply is not true
Say words that hurt you.
To be called something you are not
Called something that you forgot

You write a silly ryhme
It is not a crime
I really meant no harm
I just wanted calm

You acted quite decisively
I would have done it privately
Who knows what's really in a person mind
I find your actions most unkind

Had you succeeded
I would have explained
I don't think I needed
Too be shamed

You don't know me
I don't know you
But can see
What I know is true

I am not what you said
You judged me unfair
I will not lie in that bed
But it doesn't seem you care

Your damage we see
But who won
Certainly not me
Or you hun.

I call this being "thin skinned" and is often due to immaturity and insecurity. Most all of us have experienced this at some time or other. You've done a very good job of expressing this. Thanks for sharing with us.
I know what you mean Many can be rude and unkind
Being judged unfairly for something that somebody else sees as one way is just wrong. This seems like a very difficult situation. Big hugs to you. This is a very emotional and very intense poem...big hugs...xo
You write about compelling situation. It can be very stressful, but are not aggressive--just reflective. Very well done.
