I wish I could be there for her!

I wish I could be a shoulder for her to lean.

She has lost her everything,

That would be her hope, confidence and every other thing – her father!

I wish I could stay with her and hug her tightly.

I wish I could take her hand and say, “I’m here, and don’t you worry”

I wish I could give her confidence,

I wish I could wipe her tears and make her lean on me;

She’s my best friend and I couldn’t be there for her!

I cry; she cries looking at me with that trembling stare-

“Hug me please; I want someone to hold me tightly!”

I couldn’t come near her.

I couldn’t stand her crying;

I just want to run and hug her and protect her in all ways!

But fate has something else for us,

It wants us to be remain separate!

I wish, I still wish I could be there for her!
