"Here be dragons."
No ancient maps that we know of have these words.
Only one globe from the 16th century contains the words in Latin form.
But what a great descriptor of the unknown and the mysterious.
The dangerous and treacherous.
These words came to mind when I thought of you.
And I did think of you.
And then rejected the words and remembered the beauty.
The beauty of the sharing and swearing of fidelity.
And the love that did exist.
And glowed from your eyes.
And from mine.
Into the very depths of our hearts and souls.
So there was never any fear of danger.
And no fear of treachery.
And I would really like to remember only that.
So I shall.
"Here be no dragons."
