I always forget how cold it gets
When we enter into December
I’m freezing you can bet
Missing the heat in September

Now we enter into enjoying fires
Sipping cocoa with whipped cream
Snuggling in blankets before we retire
This is feeling like a dream

Gearing up for Christmas Day
Shopping for this festivity
Santa getting ready on his sleigh
Enjoying the Christmas nativity

Caroling with singing songs
Helping the hungry and the poor
Everybody trying to get along
Helping others and even more

Holiday cookies in tins
In all types and varieties
Now the holiday begins
Now comes all the anxiety

We gather with family and friends
And enjoy gifts and a holiday meal
This is wonderful don’t want it to end
Our holiday season was ideal
