Summer is now over onto fall
We've now closed our pool
Putting stuff away giving it our all
The kids are now back to school

The temperatures are still hot
Colors on the leaves are changing
Enjoying activities that we like a lot
Summer memories are now fading

Enjoying the amusement park
Now going into fright fest
We stay until closing in the dark
We’re a little bit obsessed

Perhaps we’ll go apple picking
We love to make apple pies
Pies are not only for Thanksgiving
Best thing there are no more flies

Pumpkin picking is around the corner
We love to carve and make fun faces
I found a place that charges four dollars
This activity is fun for all ages

Trick or Treating and costumes
Happen at the end of October
They’ll partake I presume
This holiday is getting closer

Candy will be bought
And I'll give it out
Giving candy on the spot
Children fluttering all about

Memories will be made
With my children I adore
This is a wonderful display
Loving my family is what I live for
