A dark cloud hangd above my head
and follows me where I go.
And when it came and why it grew
I honestly just don't know.
It blocks out the sun and I sit in the shade,
but really I do not mind.
For I trust not the sun's light, that breaks through the clouds,
as soon it will be gone,
And after the sun, the shadows are darker, the darkness is deeper and
I am left here to weather the storm,
and see whats left here to find.
The dark cloud won't leave
and no others want shade,
but one day I want to believe,
that another will come and we'll sit in the shade
and together hold hand when its dark.
And maybe with two the sun will creep in
and bright the shadows a bit.
It will always be dark, but dark is not so bad,
when you find some with whom you can sit.
and follows me where I go.
And when it came and why it grew
I honestly just don't know.
