The flicker of a candle’s glow

brightens the darkest caverns,

illuminating gloomy passages,

casting shadows upon the walls

of the hand, that shields it’s flame

from gusty breezes.

Providing a warm ambiance,

carrying the bearer forward,

guiding their way home,

out from the darkness,

returning them into the light,

silencing menacing voices.

Inspired by one of Stories Spaces own. Her name (candle_in_the_wind) her work brings many out of the darkness and leads them back into the light.
