Bumble, Bumble, Toil and Tumble
Bumble, Bumble, Toil and Tumble
See me trip, see me stumble.
Down to the ground I hit with a plop
A thump to my noggin, hear it go Bop!
My eyes go wide, they fill up with tears
Written on my face, a great many fears.
In sucks the air, my chest did fill
In prep of a scream, I knew would be shrill.
“Ouch!” I screamed as loud as I could
My sister shook her head, grinning as she stood.
“I told you to slow down,” she scolded with mirth
She “Tiss, Tiss, Tiss,” For all she was worth.
Rubbing my head and wiping my nose
I rolled to my knees and up I arose.
“Want me to kiss it?” She asked with a smile
“No way! I’m not hurt,” I say with denial.
She rolled her eyes and turned away
“Then quit fooling around, and let us go play.
“Thanks,” I told her, ”For just being you.”
“I feel much better, though I’m sure you knew.
So off to the park, more cautious this time
This tail has ended and so has the rhyme.
