Laying together in the back of his truck

Looking up at the stars

as they talk quietly

Discussing their problems

and current concerns.

Offering each other

Comfort and support.

They move closer

She rests her head on his shoulder

as he pulls her close

hugging, holding her tight.

She turns towards him

placing a soft kiss on his cheek

and a hand on his chest.

Feeling his grip tighten

as he kisses her cheek then forehead.

Before reaching out towards the sky

drawing pictures in the air.

Both just enjoying the moment

remembering what they share and been through.

Knowing that they are friends, actually the closest

and will be forever and always

because they both love one another.
