She sat there with her laptop glowing
Her stare was continuous, never knowing
He watched her with eyes slowly going
His heart was overflowing 

She had no idea he had feelings
She could not tell it had reached higher than the ceilings
They had only limited dealings
They were both in need of many healings 

He dreamed of a day when she would be aware
Though he never wanted an affair
To him, no other woman can compare
He couldn’t stand the thought of her looking elsewhere 

What was he to do
His feelings for her only grew
He lost all control when she came into view
He needed a breakthrough 

Time would only tell
Can he live life under her spell
His heart continues to swell
He has to find a way out of this living hell 

Only time will decide if it can work out
Life has a way of letting things be drawn-out
Maybe he should see if they can hang-out
It is hard to hold-out

He saw her like an angel with the wings of a dove
Could it be love
There was no one else he could think of
This has to be true love
