I love writing when the moment takes me... Sometimes though, I can't stand it! It just depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I plan on writing for SS, but it will just be a matter of motivating myself, which is never easy. Then again, is anything worthwhile ever easy? I love to talk about books, movies, music, anything, really... I'm always happy to meet new people, especially people who like what I like. I look forward to meeting everyone new and connecting with friends on SS! Peace out, dawgs! :)
Interests
PC gaming, books, fast cars , stuff that goes bang, music, movies, and a number of other things I'm too lazy to mark down. Ask me about 'em and I'll tell ya. Oh, I almost forgot - I love cigars. I've just been smoking on and off for about 2 years now, and only recently started picking up steam on enjoying them. I wouldn't call myself an aficionado, but I think I know a bit. =P
Favorite Books
Generally scifi and fantasy (occasionally I indulge in some Cussler stuff if I don't feel like thinking) - I'm a huge nerd. Oh well. WoT series, SoT series, Warhammer 40k, Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow, Discworld books, LoTR, etc.
Favorite Authors
JRR Tolkien, of course, Terry Pratchett, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Dan Abnett, Graham McNeill, Aaron Dembski-Bowden, Ben Counter, Sandy Mitchell, Gav Thorpe, Clive Cussler. And of course, many of the authors on this site, though I couldn't name all of them.
Favorite Movies
Scifi, fantasy, comedy, action, westerns - too many to count. I do enjoy Sweeney Todd and Moulin Rouge - kinda strange for a guy like me, but what can I say? I'm just a big softie at heart, really.
Favorite Music
Anything that's rock-style, but my favorite is heavy metal. Iron Maiden would have to be my overall favorite band. I also enjoy progressive metal, some alternative, and death metal. (I'm very picky about Death Metal - I only enjoy a handful of bands from that genre.) I also enjoy classical / band / orchestra music. Southern rock is good, and I like some pop - Mostly stuff like Billy Joel and Billy Idol. I'll listen to just about anything at least once, and if I haven't listened to a particular musical style, it's probably not because I dislike it, it's because I just haven't gotten to it yet.
