Having great trouble with my noir story. Thought I'd be clever and have it all done when comp opened--now, I'll be lucky to have it done by closure. Reading the great film titles and seeing the first entries I look like being a million miles from 'noir' -- more like 'erotique gris'. Still, no going back now--keep right on to the end of the road.

Better try a black coffee and then get on with it.
