I grew up in the 50's and 60's. I was a fearless tomboy. Softball was my favorite sport to play. I played on adult leagues in my 20's and 30's. I had some plans for my life, which fate changed for me, when I became disabled from an on the job injury. Chronic back and neck pain have been my bane. If I am seen with teeth clenched, you are in on the secret as to why. Don't you feel privileged?
I dislike rudeness, selfishness and people being judgmental.
It does my heart good to meet caring, empathetic people.
My secret to remaining sane and alive so far, as been a sense of humor and wanting to live long enough to have a second childhood.
A man, aged 40 and a woman, aged 43, call me Mom. Three young adults, aged 15, 20 and 23 and a child, aged 9, call me Grandma. I still do not feel old enough to have progeny that are these ages. I did become a mother at 16 years old and a grandmother at 37 years old.

I write poetry and creative non fiction. I have had two stories and one poem published in anthologies (not the kind where you have to pay for the book!) I have had two poems published . A lot of my writing is on the social website www.writerscafe.org.
