Darn...running through the halls with scissors is one of my favorite pass-times! Anyways, thank you everyone for the warm welcomes! I look forward to seeing you all around!
I write under the pseudonym "e.g. louis," so I guess you all can call me "e." or "louis" or "e.g" or I suppose whatever you feel like calling me! I'm an aspiring writer of fiction and poetry, and I'm about to graduate from the University of Texas with a degree in Rhetoric and Writing. I've been looking for a way to social network with other writers in a relatively casual way and this place seems like a pretty good fit so far. Anyways, see you all around!

I'm on a big Neil Gaiman binge right now. I received the Sandman Vol. 1-10 slipcase for Christmas, so I'm trying to power my way through those (on vol. 8 at the moment); also, finished Neverwhere a few weeks ago, and reading Stardust right now. I'm only in my early 20's, so it's refreshing having an entire back log of books from an author who's been writing since before I was born --I only wish I was around when he originally published some of these stories, so I could be "hipster cool" about reading his titles...
Yes, that's it, thanks! Do you still need me to send it to you? And, thanks for clarifying the rule - I'm hoping to be posting here more frequently, so 20 posts shouldn't be too much of a deal in the long run.
Hi everyone,

I'm new around here and this is my first post (hope it isn't too egocentric that my first post is in the "Sing Your Own Praises" section!) Anyways, a few weeks ago, I launched a . Essentially, Monday through Friday every week, I do "flash" five-minute writing sessions each day, and then I compile those five sessions into a short story for the week. It's been a lot of fun, and I figured this site would be the perfect place to share my project and its progress so far. The reception from people who have viewed it so far has been pretty strong, but I'd definitely appreciate more readers, viewers, and definitely more feedback. So, please check it out and tell me what you think!

Thanks!
