Hi-ya. I'm Daphne. I am here to have fun, read and maybe write if my muse ever comes back.

I am a geek, and love all things geeky. I love Vampires, Dragons, Zombies, Magic, Spaceships and Swords and Sorcery. I even played D&D in Jr. High. The only girl who did, I might add.

I DON'T like sparkly Vampires. Real Vampires don't sparkle or walk in the sun!

I am an old soul; not a creature of my own time. I prefer vinyl to iPod, (MP3s have no soul) my sound system has vacuum tubes, (it just sounds better) and I own a Convertible '69 Camaro SS Indy Pace Car that my Grandfather bought new.

My favorite bands are: Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, OLD Kid Rock, Van Halen; NOT Van Hagar, Cross Canadian Ragweed etc.

I love Rock and Blues music from the 60's thru the 90's as well as some college Rock from the 90's. I inherited my musical tastes from my Daddy.

I play electric guitar and Lita Ford is my hero. I'm not even on the same planet as Lita, talent wise, I mostly like to noodle around, crunch power chords and maybe bend a few strings.

I love to rollerblade and dance. I workout way too much.

My library is filled with books written in the last century, long before I was even born.

These books, much of my vinyl and my literary tastes came from my Grandpa.

My favorite authors are: Larry Niven, Robert Heinlein (before he went insane and woke up female), Piers Anthony (he is VERY punny), Douglas Adams, Clifford Simak, Kurt Vonnegut, John Norman, (before he got all philosophical on female slavery) Lynn Abby, Stephen King (I know, I know, but I love the wordy bastard) and Anne McCaffrey.

Actually, some of Heinlein's female perspective work is excellent, (love Pixel) but damn if he doesn't try to cram every character he ever created into each book.

My favorite TV and movies are: Anything with a Spaceship, anything with Vampires, anything involving time travel or alternative universes and or dimensions.

I am probably the only girl on the planet that likes Monty Python. Life of Brian and The Holy Grail are 2 of my favorite movies. None of my girlfriends get it.

I wasn't popular in school. I hung with the geek boys. They quoted Monty Python non-stop, so I had to check it out. I do like traffic lights and lumberjacks.

I subscribe to the many worlds theory, and don't believe we went to the moon in '69. We made it there in '72. I believe Deckard is a Replicant. I believe Han shot first.

I also believe that microwave ovens, lasers, Velcro, transistors and semiconductors came from a crashed UFO.

I believe that intelligent life exists in the universe. I believe chem-trails are fucking the world up, and COVID-19 was a means of mind control. I believe Bill Gates is trying to depopulate the planet. I believe Tesla was robbed.

I don't believe that Elvis died in '77 or that Kennedy was killed by a lone gunman but I DO believe Marilyn Monroe was murdered for embarrassing Kennedy.

Okay, so I'm weird. So what?
