First thing we'd climb a tree
And maybe then we'd talk
Or sit silently
And listen to our thoughts
With illusions of someday
Cast in a golden light
No dress rehearsal
This is our life

Tragically Hip - Ahead By a Century

Truth. For me, this captures the perfect balance of hope and trepidation when looking to the future because there's no do-over when it comes to this thing called "life".

Sorry. Hadn't realized there was a count by picture forum thread!

Yes, even Mark Wahlberg's "Feel My Heat" puts a smile on my face (because it's so damn hilarious). Every song on this soundtracks like a groovy dance party.

Didn't get my driver's license until I was nineteen, so... I guess you could say my high school vehicle was a commuter bus (here known as the TTC)

Oddly enough I was nineteen too, but I lived out in the country so no public transportation for me. Thank goodness my boyfriend and best friends drove me around.

The first car I got out of school was a 1992 Camaro Z28 Convertible 5.0L 5-speed. It was purple with a pink pinstripe.

Well, if we're talking my first car, that would be a green Mazda Protege. It drowned in a flood. sad

One of my favorite movies.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

"What we've got here is a failure to communicate."

Oh yes. BCATSK is one of my all-time fave's as well, from one of my fave actors. Speaking of which, in regards to your quote:

"The thing about perfection is that it's unknowable. It's impossible, but it's also right in front of us all the time. You wouldn't know that because I didn't when I created you. I'm sorry, Clu. I'm sorry..."

"Clu" clued me in, but I wasn't sure if it was the original or the sequel. I've seen the original about five times and this profound line doesn't ring a bell, so....

"Listen, I don't mean to be a sore loser, but when it's done, if I'm dead, kill him."

Well, lookee here. All out of ink. So I guess the line is unable to continue from here, ergo this here be the end of it.
I'll pretend I'm at Japanese restaurant and have the seaweed salad on the side... But eyeing the fries.

A nice stroll or a long nap?

From Cinemaholic:
"Released five years before ‘Hachi’, the Japanese film was one of the most successful films that had a dog at its centre. The heartwarming movie focused on a Labrador named Quill, after a peculiar-shaped bird on one of its sides. The movie depicted the life of Quill and its journey from being a cute puppy in a litter of five, to becoming a guide dog for a blind journalist; its fair share of limitations in becoming what it was trained for and also its attempts to bond with the new master. A commercial success around the world, the film was a moving tale of a dog, which we had fallen in love with before Hachiko arrived on the scene!"

Totally agree. I loved this movie!
Espresso... or rather was. Now there's just air and the scent of coffee beans.

Which is the reason why it takes me half an hour to type a paragraph.

My first draft is written. Now to edit

Looking forward to it! "Now to edit" for me means chopping about 75% of what I wrote in the first draft to get it under the word limit!

Tonight I'm going gourmet. We are having an option of cereal or fend for yourself.

Depending on what cereal you have in the cupboard, that's not a bad option. I've had a few Cheerios al Fresco evenings in my time.cPsPbdVQLfNNk2C7
Thank you for compiling and sharing these!

Is it just me or are the links not showing? No worries, I can still find the sites, but just wondering.
