to me
Good afternoon Mr. Jankowski,

I am putting together a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony. We would be honored to
have your "We Shall Never Forget" poem in our program. The few who have read
your poem in our office have really loved it. May we please have your
permission to use your poem? If allowed to use your poem, our program would
look like the one attached.

v/r,

BELLE A. DIRKS, 2Lt, USAF
721st Communications Squadron
Cheyenne Mountain AFS, CO

Alan, did you know you are on poemhunter? I go on there to find poems that I post up sometimes...RESPECT!
Wendell Berry (born August 5, 1934) is an American man of letters, academic, cultural and economic critic, and farmer. He is a prolific author of novels, short stories, poems, and essays. He is also an elected member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers, a recipient of The National Humanities Medal, and the Jefferson Lecturer for 2012.

I 'get' this poem so much at times. The theme is one that I identify with.

The Peace of Wild Things By Wendell Berry

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

I remote viewed this website, in February 2010 after overhearing a couple of hot babes tossing ideas around, elsewhere. I was able to determine then that a nice young lady whom I knew as Lois Lane would pull my chain in September of that year about its actual existence.

Thanks Louise

*coughs* me pull your chain...That so sounds like something I'd do
hi,

I'd like some feedback on a cover for a short story I'm going to self - publish in the erotica genre. It's sexy and classy but has no nudity, merely bra and knickers etc . I'll put it on my profile for people to view so it's not bobbing about the forums and offending anyone. Can you give me an opinion on it if you are my friend? I can add you , if you want to take a look and comment. It is my first bit of cover art that I've ever had order about.

thanks

Louise
