I'm from the beautiful state of Colorado, and have been writing for over thirteen years. I started out with fanfiction for years, and finished my first original manuscript when I was 19. (The day before my 20th birthday, but it still counts, right?) Other that Colorado, I have lived in England and Kentucky, and have traveled to many of the states. Besides my writing, the most important thing in my life is my Jack Russel Terrier-Boxer mix, B. Lyn. I write fantasy, paranormal, sci-fi, and new adult romance.
Interests Being from Colorado, I love to hike and camp and drive down the scenic highways and byways. I'm a huge history buff, and enjoy home decor. My mom and I sometimes go to model homes just to see what styles architects are working with.
Favorite Books Being a product of my generation, I have to say Harry Potter, but Age of Innocence and Tale of Two Cities are also brilliant. I love the Dresden Files.
Favorite Authors J.K. Rowling, Charles Dickens, Jim Butcher, Danielle Palmer, and myself... No, I'm kidding. I'm not that egotistical.
Favorite Movies Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Real Steal. I love their stories, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is the best movie ever made, in my opinion. I also love The Avengers Series, (she types while wearing her Captain America t-shirt) and the other Marvel movies as well. I also love the Fast and the Furious series, and the new Star Trek movies. My go to movies are Action/Adventure.
Favorite TV Shows Supernatural, Teen Wolf, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Once Upon A Time, Firefly, and Star Trek: TOS to name a few. I haven't watched Game of Thrones or the Walking Dead yet. I know, I know, what rock have I been living under, right? I'm sure that eventually they'll be on this list to.
Favorite Music I'm a Classic Rock and Country kind of girl. I love Bon Jovi, ACDC, the Eagles, and U2. I'm impressed by Hunter Hayes. My favorite songs of all time are Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi, and Desperado by the Eagles.
Detective Grace Dobson's new case opens doors locked long ago.
2 Grace Dobson leaned against a red, brick wall of an old factory building. Hiding in the shadows she watched the cars that drove past. Every once in a while a neighbor would walk past the alley Grace rested in. Taller neighbors would walk right past the alley, chatting with companions or into phones. A few walked by alone, huddling their coats closer to ward out the chill of November. Periodically, shorter individuals dr...
Detective Grace Dobson's new case opens doors locked long ago.
The sweet and bitter scents mixed together to create the soothing atmosphere that was only available in such establishments. Two young women wearing t-shirts of a rich chocolate color covered by purple aprons darted from the cash register to the machines behind the counter. A large crowd of men and women, dressed in an array of fashions, congregated in front of the counter. Men in suits with ties carrying briefcases waite...
