Cup of strong Assam tea with one sugar and my lactose free milk. Yum. Oh yes in my Audrey Hepburn mug.

This is the picture that stirred my emotions and remined me how much I missed the white horse that passed away, it was looking at this picture that made me write that poem. My Beautiful White Horse.
Quote by Louise
I remember once Chuck, I was reading a 'Kay Scarpetta' novel and I was pulled into this world of a serial killer. I was reading this one particularly gory, nail biting scene and was so engrossed that I never realised my boyfriend was in the room. He grabbed my shoulder to get my attention and I started screaming and the book went flying(grins)...

See to me that's what I love about books, is they way like Louise can really make me laugh out loud as if she was telling me what happened sittingright next to me.
Books, magazines, newspapers its all the same to me! I lose track of time and like a smal child I go into my own world; I forget about food, drink, people, time and all I focus on is what I'm reading. When I have finished reading I always sigh and like a meditaion trance I come back to reality.
I write my dreams down in bed after I've woken up ha ha, I write in the book lysing on my side crazy I know but I feel if I sit up I'll forget what happened.
I also write in bed late at night after or before reading.
I like to write my stories on the p.c I let myself waffle until I run out of steam this is most often very late night at night, when I've switched the telly off and the kids are asleep, Its a lovely time to write.
The editing stuff I leave that till the daytime.

Oh yeah nearley forgot, I love writing in the car too haha.
My memory is a sad one. I was signing on at the job centre and my daughter saw the front page of a free weekly newspaper, on the front was a animal rescue centre that had a lot of animals that needed home. I moved house in january and we already had 4 gerbils. I ended up ringing the animal centre to ask about the gerbils; she said they are two male gerbils. They 2 1/2 years old so they won't live long.
I said that's ok!
A week later we brough our beautiful gerbils home. Two males, Addy black and white and Bruno ginger and white.
We brought them home that Friday and I took loads of pictures of our new rescued gerbils. I felt so proud I had rescued them as they was sharing a room with birds, rats and cats no fun I think.
I uploaded the pictures to my pc and swooned on how much I had fallen in love with Bruno. I recall holding him in my hands so still and gentle in my palm. I cuddled him most of friday night after the kids went to bed....I loved him already!
I got to bed late Friday nite and overslept on saturday morning.

The next thing I hear Saturday morning is my youngest daughter screaming "Something is wrong with Bruno he keeps shaking!!!!!!"

I start to run downstairs and I meet my older daughter saying, "Mummy Bruno was shaking and he's stopped moving and I think he's died"

I came into the living-room to see my youngest holding my favourite gerbil Bruno in her hands saying "He's died"

I took Bruno in my hands and this was the first time I'd ever seen anything die so real in my hands. I held him until I felt him going cold.

I found a brightly coloured strippy sweetie tin and layed some kitchen role and placed him inside and put the lid on.

I burried him in the garden this august 2010. And I miss him everyday. I have grown flowers and pretty animal pots with flowers and numerous other things.

I only had Bruno for 8 hrs, but my affection for this tiny gerbil will last forever!!
I get more scared getting in a lift or driving long-distance on a motorway haha.

I really enjoy posting stories and poems, I get very excited that somebody will read my thoughts that I've put into words.
Nerves arn't a part of posting stories and poems for me.
I just wrote a poem and made myself cry LOL now I want a choclate twirl!
I'm about to finish reading Spirit and Destiny magazine and Psychologies magazines - I shall put the heating on and sit against the radiator and dvour the magazine hee hee can't wait.
Going from experience and the time it took me to finish my last story. I wrote 2,000 words in about 3 hrs on the p.c. I used to hand write; but I let my self type away without stopping myself. I usually find from start to finish about three days for a short story.
