Our graves are in sight unless we reform,
like ham, but that's already rather grave.
So what do we do to save our bacon?
Rise up, fight the power!
Fight hate with love, and give nasty people,
one giant shove!
My most cherished memory, since a question wasn't asked, is going down an escalator. My heart was in my mouth, I was shaking and traumatised from customs being such arseholes, but then the happy started. I saw her - the love of my life, Aria. I dropped my bags, not caring about anything other than hugging Aria. I held her close and cried. I took her in. That was the best day ever, and is a rather bittersweet memory.

What is your ideal date?
You're safe in your home,
you great, giant gnome.
A house under ground,
is where you'll be found.

Along with the fishes,
no, wait, that's underwater,
just like a cute wee otter,
but with dishes.

I've run out of steam,
so I'll just drink Jim Beam,
and ponder, oh, gnome, your wonderful colour scheme.
I want a bean.
GRR!

Breaking a guitar string and replacing it, only to have it break on you again, in an infinite vicious cycle.
Frustrating.

Finally managing to throw that boomerang, only for it to betray you by decapitating you.
I'm having the annoying problem of being able to think of things to write, but physically unable to write them. Most of you know why, but for those who don't: Peripheral neuropathy, about which I'll say no more. Anyway, to get over writers block, I usually just write. I know, it sounds nuts, but half (at least) of my ideas go nowhere, anyway, so just writing them out, even if it's a fleeting thought, can help. Thinking of rhyming words can help, too. You really just need to get your mind off the idea of having writers block. You could try replacing lyrics with your own made up ones. It doesn't really matter if the writing is crap, so long as you're getting ideas out there. Some will end in nothing, but you can always recycle ideas, or you could revisit old stories.
Cheese. All the cheese! And to answer Roland's question, well I think y'all know: Lady Vodka!

Which word sounds better: Crepuscular or twilight?

I don't know much about these things but would it work on a DVD+/-R? They have around 4.7gb.

Unfortunately, the Dreamcast isn't compatible with DVDs at all. It uses a proprietary format, called GD-ROM (Gigabyte Disc), but hackers discovered that CD-R discs will work. But only CD-R discs. Which is a pain in the arse.

A GD-ROM is basically just a modified CD-R, with the inner sector being for the boot.img, and the outer for all other data. The boot.img acts as DRM, and even today, it's pretty difficult to hack. Once hacked, though, it a GD-ROM can be slimmed down to fit on a normal CD-R, but that requires a downgrade of audio or video. Some hackers remove the boot.img, but that brings about a problem whereby the disc can't boot, so a separate boot disc has to be used, which is a little inconvenient, but not as bad as the fact that a GD-ROM won't fit on a CD-R
Why in the name of Almighty Grothnar is it so difficult to find overburning CD-Rs? Oh, yeah... Obsolete technology. Right, that'll explain it. My favourite Dreamcast game (Shenmue II) decided to stop working, so as it's abandonware, I decided to download a copy. Trying to find a CD-R to fit it on is proving to be difficult and annoying because the version I downloaded is 99 minutes, and most CD-R discs are only 80 minutes. I could download the 80 minute version, but that means that some audio and video has been downscaled, which is not particularly nice. I could buy a new copy of Shemnue II, but at over £50, it's not exactly an easily affordable thing. I guess I'll just have to make do with the 80 minute downscaled version. Meh.
Bass: That note, the deep resonance of lower frequency notes, which makes my heart beat in time to the rhythm. Bass is my word of the day because I managed to play a little, and it made me happy.
Mostly black because it's slimming, but I'm not opposed to wearing a red dress, especially if I'm wearing red shoes. Gotta put on my red shoes and dance the blues, after all.

There's a house at the top of the hill. It's spooky, full of bats and crumbling. Rumour has it that it's haunted. Do you go inside and find out if it's really haunted or run away fast as you can?
So on and on it goes,
life is just sunshine and rainbows.
You wake up every day
on a bed of hay,
but that's okay.

You go to work for a measly pittance,
though you long to tell your boss "good riddance!"
So, you work, you live, it's a never-ending cycle
and at the end of it all, your body the earth will recycle.

So live your life and live it well,
have your own standards, even if it is living in a shell.
Nobody can tell you what to do,
I mean look at that old lady, she lived in a shoe!

If anyone tells you you're living wrong,
just offer them a hit of your bong.
In the end, it's about the journey,
even if that is just from Glasgow to Kilbirnie.

Live, love, forgive and forget,
go ahead, buy a pet!
Let yourself be happy,
even when life is crappy,
there's always hope.
Don't be such a mope!
This is of my eye, with the camera reflected in it. It was a total mistake, but it worked out well. Also, my profile picture has a reflection.

Auburn, WA. Anywhere I went with Aria was just magickal.

This is a great place

Aye, it's a wee bit crazy, but it's no' hauf bad.
I guess so... Whomever Ginger is. Ghostreader, I really do wish you'd stop with the in-questions. Some people don't know the same people as you do, so your questions can be a little irksome.

So, people, what irks you?
A company can be split into two categories: The bosses and the workers. Now, I'm not talking about the bosses as people like managers and team leaders, I'm talking about those way up there in the boardrooms. Us and them, kinda thing. 'Us' being the workers, from the workers point of view, and 'them' being the tower-dwelling bosses, from the workers point of view.

Generally, people work for a company because they like what they see. What they see, you see, isn't always what is really happening. Nobody really knows what they're working for. Not those at the bottom, anyway. Heck, not even those at the middle do. The 'top' is like a secret society, ruled by heirs and kept 'in the family', even if that family isn't connected by blood.

This is how governments are run, this is how charities are run, and it's all about money. Money is power. You can do anything with enough money, and almost everyone has their selling point. That is, almost everyone will do a certain thing for a certain amount of money. Like some people will simply keep a secret in exchange for enough money to keep themselves and their family fed, sheltered and clothed. Some have a higher price, but you do get the odd, rare one, who doesn't have a price. Who won't put their honour on the line for something so silly as money.

Now, don't get me wrong, money is great when you have it, and a millstone when you don't, but it isn't the be-all and end-all of everything. Sure, I can sit here in bed typing this and be happy that I can because I have money and the means to make it, but if I didn't have the means to make money, do you seriously think that I'd just languish? Maybe for a time, but there's only so much languishing one can do before they reach breaking point. Or maybe that's just me.

So, you go to work for a company. You pick them based on what you believe they're about, but you don't really see what's going on in the boardrooms. Do you care? Probably not. Should you? That's up to you. The fact is, people like that run our world. People like that are what's wrong with this world, and why it's so money-oriented. Do you honestly think that the CEO of [insert name of charity/government/company] is really giving a shit about the [insert 'issue' here]? No, they don't. They want your money, and they want it for themselves. They're corrupt and they use your money as bribes. Some of it sees the 'cause', but most of it just lines the pockets of 'them'.

And yet, we still give to 'charity'. We still believe that our politicians are nice people with our best interests at heart, and we still believe that the 'small' companies really are small. We are blind, we are sleeping. It's time to wake up, humans.
