Quite a lot, surprisingly. Like meeting Aria for the first time, even though it excites me, too. The thought of having buggered a plate on the stove also scares me. I'm scared of things, but I don't let them control me, otherwise I'd be a hermit.

What excites you?
I wonder when this blight is going to go away? It just seems to happen every danged day. It's annoying and doesn't make any sense. Well, at least it hasn't annoyed me today, but give it time. Just sod off!
I'm not sure how to make a cat smile, but to make his Kitten smile, this Kitty tells her he loves her. She does the same to me, too. Then I giggle and blush.

Have you found someone who makes you giggle and blush?

That looks rather Dalek-esque. I imagine instead of saying "exterminate!" It says "toastilate!"
A Wee Poem About Toast by Andrew

Toast, toast, we want our toast,
what is it that we want the most?
Why, we want our toast!
And a cuppa tea, too.

Spread it with marmalade,
slather it with butter,
coat it in Marmite (ew!)
Jam's a good bet,
Oh! Joyous toast!
How versatile you are!

We love toast.
Crunch!
Okay, so now that I'm at the end, I'm going to make a really important confession: I'm not really a disembodied hand, floating around a 5-string bass. I am, in fact, a whole person! With arms, legs, feet, hands, torso... The works! Whoa...
I wish I had a brick,
to whack a prick,
but I don't,
so I'll just build a house
for a mouse.
This used to be one of my favourite trees. There was a very heavy storm, and it was knocked over, taking the bench with it. As it is a conker tree (horse chestnut), it is protected, so even although the tree has fallen, the stump remains. There are still roots, and there are now new shoots, too. I went to school not far from that tree, and always liked to study underneath it.

Haberdasher : 1. a retail dealer in men's furnishings, as shirts, ties, gloves, socks, and hats.
2. A dealer in small articles for sewing, such as buttons, zips, and ribbons

WotD because I was at such a shop yesterday. Here in France it is called a mercerie, which led me to think of the word, haberdasher. If it is split in two, it gives haber dasher, which could be an interesting fictional creature or even a name for a character in a story.

Then I got to wondering about the origin of the word, and looked it up.

Word Origin and History for haberdasher
n.

early 14c., "seller of various small articles of trade" (late 13c. as a surname), agent noun from Anglo-French hapertas "small wares," also a kind of fabric, of unknown origin. Sense of "dealer in men's wares" is 1887 in American English, via intermediate sense of "seller of caps."

Ah, that's one of my favourite words smile There's this place in Paisley, just a stone's throw away from me, called Helen's Haberdashery. I always loved the alliteration, and the feel of the word 'haberdashery'. It made me laugh, but also had this nostalgic feeling to it. I mentioned where the haberdasher is, because Paisley used to be one of the biggest makers of fabric. They even had streets named after what were made, like Silk Street.

So, with that in mind, my word of the day is "nostalgia". Wikipedia link.
Well, a foot rub always leads to a back rub, but I'll choose foot rub for now.

Criticism or critique? (There's a HELL of a difference!)
Scottish Limerick. If you're not Scottish, you probably won't get the rhythm

Shite, am too cauld
ah wish ah wisnae bald!

so al no huv tae run it,

This is not a true limerick as it doesn't have the rhythm of a limerick. It would be better placed in the Random Poem thread.

Can you please stop trying to censor me?
Well, since ya asked, here's 21 ideas for energy boosting breakfast toast I'll be honest, I can't really eat anything massively flavourful for breakfast, but some of those ideas might be worth a try. The banana, almond butter and chia seeds one, I'd try for lunch and would actually pop the toast under the grill once I've arranged the topping.

Why can't I do both? I like holding hands, I feel it can be far more intimate than lots of folks think. Kissing is fabulous. If I had to choose it would be kissing in the dark or anywhere. I believe kissing is how our spirits talk to each other.

Spanking or not spanking.

All hail the great Molly! (wanted to use the bowing one, but can't find it.)

Spanking, of course! It's not only fun, but good discipline for both the spanker and the spankee.

Lager or ale?

Wow, that's horrible thanks for being brave enough to share.

I think I was in hospital for a week, getting my adenoids out ( small lumps of tissue at the back of the nose, behind the palate.) I saw a UFO whilst in there.

In work or school, have you ever had a leader, rather than a boss/teacher?
That has to be the time that I drowned. I was underwater and just couldn't get back up to the surface, and when I died, the last bubble of my breath sounded like "bloop".

Have you ever died?

Ah, that's unfortunate and annoying, what a waste of a good kilt, and of what should be yours by right.

How was your Burns evening?

It is, indeed, but maybe if I ask, I'll get.

My Burns nicht wasn't too bad. I didn't really do anything, though. I didn't even have haggis, which is ridiculous, but I'll perhaps have some on Friday.

I have an idea for a badge, but it would require a bit of co-operation. Guest Vocalist. You get it for doing audio for another member, but the person posting the story would have to say who it was who did the audio, so that that member could get the badge. Am I making sense? Dunno, I'm slightly imbibed

Makes perfect sense, and that is a good suggestion to make. You've done the audio for me on my Ephemeral series, and you should be credited with it. Two other people have done audio for me as well, so the same thing for them.

Also, going off that suggestion, there could also be a collaborator badge. Obtained, funnily enough, by writing a story with someone and being declared as a contributing author.
Is it too late to get in on this sushi getting thing? I'll bring Aria, too, and also some beer. Tsingtao, methinks.
