Hello all.
I'm Mel and I'm obviously new to this site. I figured it would be appropriate to stop in and introduce myself. So, um, hi.
I tend to write short essay like stories about sad people in sad situations, although I am not a sad person. I am also a fan of very dark humor so my stories aren't as serious as they may sound. Hopefully I will work up the courage to actually post one soon.
Also, I know my grammar may not be perfect. So please, go easy on me. I've taken a break from writing to focus on a technical career that involves more numbers than letters. Turns out that letters are way more interesting so "I'm back" so to speak.
Oh, and I write how I speak. I know that can be annoying to some.
Ok, that's enough small talk and disclaimers. Nice to "meet" you all.
