Thanks for the Heads-up, WG. Okay, here is my effort...

<<*>>

“Hey! Jeannie! Over here!”

“Hey, Mandy! What's new?”

“Have you heard the Buzz?”

“Buzz?”

“Yeah, you know. The Summer Heat Rock Festival.”

“What about it? You know I'm not into that noisy stuff.”

“Hollywood Vampires are playing on Sunday!”

“Never heard of them.”

“Alice Cooper?”

“So?”

“Johnny Depp?”

“What!? When does it start? I have to be there!”

I knew that Johnny Depp plays guitar and also sings in a band with Alice Cooper, but I never actually looked them up. I have now though, and I am reasonably impressed. Don't think I would buy an album but they are fun to look up on YouTube.

This is the Hollywood Vampires playing The Boogieman Surprise.

From the film Top Gun, Take My Breath Away was written by Georgio Moroder and Tom Whitlock and performed by Berlin.

I liked this song so much that I bought the album, Count Three and Pray. Imagine my dismay, or joy, when I discovered that this was actually the worst track on the album!

One of my favourite summer drinks is Eiskaffee (Ice cream coffee). A chilled latte with a scoop of ice cream on top. It is often served with whipped cream on top of that, but that is too sickly for me. Unfortunately, in the UK, they have a habit of also putting flavoured syrup in it, so I avoid it here. Way, way, way too sweet! I often make Americano over ice, too. Delicious.

Having spent twenty years as a train driver before I retired... car! 🤣

Driving - Country lanes (windy English-type ones) or city streets?

Listening to the new album by Eivør Pálsdóttir. Entitled 'Enn', it is an absolutely wonderful album. So atmospheric.

This track is Ein Klota/A Planet.

Sadly, I had cause to revisit this old favourite today. Canadian actor Donald Sutherland, who stars as Kate's father in the video, has passed away at 88.

I saw he had. RIP Donald.

For those who like the nineties trance scene, the film, Kevin and Perry Go Large is an absolute masterpiece and features some superb tracks.

This one is Mystery Land from Y-Traxx.

I had to look them up. I'll have to choose Gerald Coulson.

Coulson is a wonderful artist. My favourite modern artist.

I have never tried pottery, so that.

Burger or Hot Dog?
