Okay, so I'm trying to make this simple as possible, since the las thread I started was a bit convoluted. Well, the premise is simple: Describe a word with accurate, but misleading clues, just as a crossword might incuding letter count, the next person guesses it, then poses their own word description. I'll start:

An instrument; typically with four strings, garners a lot of puns, basically.
Ghosts, flamingos, guitars and vodka. Eclectic subjects, eccentric stories:

Humorous guide & Recommended Read =^.^= How To Make a Cup of Tea
A flash fiction series :) A Random Moment in Time
Editors' Pick! :D I Am The Deep, Dark Woods
And another EP!: The Fragility of Age
=^.^=
Sorry, Andrew, I'm not good at crosswords unless they are really, really uncomplicated.

But could you also specify the word count for the answer, cus in a crossword, you usually know that much, and it might be helpful.

Since this has been up for a month with only one (wrong) attempt, maybe it is too difficult?

A little longer and then I shall reveal... if no-one gets it.

Keith, c'est "Anna, ma chérie", or "Ma chère Anna".

And we do not know if my supposition is correct, or yours.

A suivre, or,

The answer is, indeed, CONCORDE, which, in addition to being the fastest airliner built thus far, is also a French word meaning , effectively, Cordial Agreement.

Well done, Keith.

Not quite there Anna, but along the right lines. Try something older.

You are getting very warm my friend but not quite there. Think of another Viking island nearer the Arctic circle.

Sorry to disappoint you, Keith but you are absolutely right with this one. It was a spur of the moment thing and the best I could come up with.

Now it's your turn.
