For Dana M. Best...she would have been 47 this month, July 27th, had she not died of a heart attack shortly after her 40th birthday...this picture was taken Christmas 2001, in my mother's living room btw...

I once knew a drinker who had a moderating problem...

The two KWS rangers who poachers gunned down on Thursday
For Harry... blue skies forever. RIP
My young friend who just passed on leaving spouse and three small children. "M...." ... please know that I so enjoyed our many convers. about ranching, trucking, and life out in the wilds of Australia. I never knew you had health issues until the "goodbye" note where you indicated 3 months and it turned out to be less than a week. Sadly I got the note after you were gone. RIP!

For my fellow Kenyans

In my heart, I'll light many candles from the flame of this one. I remember a line from a religious/spiritual television program from my childhood that said: " If everyone lit just one little candle, what a bright world this would be..."
Relief for a very severe headache to my purple love. I would take your pain anytime.
I just keep hopping from place to place.
I never stay too long.
I just keep moving singing a song.
So you better stop me if you want to chat.
Or you will never know where I am at.

I would light a candle for anybody who I thought needed a candle lit.

Children and families who are homeless
Children with life long illnesses
Victims that have been abused or hurt

Those are just a few...endless candles to anybody who needs one
for all souls past and present...and those yet to be born
for our future that is so unclear
for our nations that war for peace.

for our future that is so unclear
for our nations that war for peace.
Family and friends who are dealing with depression ... that just goes on and on and on almost like an epidemic.
a pink candle for all the women fighting breast cancer
a candle for all who fought and eventually lost the battle against their cancer
all terminal cancer patients and their families
all Ana/Mia women and men out there...
all those suffering from, or watching a loved one/friend suffer from depression, suicidal thoughts, schizophrenia, ana(anorexia), mia(bulimia), or other mental illnesses...

the list goes on...

As always, kindness is free, so please consider that when replying to someone rather than the alternatives. You never know what's going on in their life that you may not see. Love, Light & Blessed Be, friends.

I shall light a candle for Nelson Mandela.

He is gone now from this world, but I would light many candles to help his spirit and legacy continue in our lives.

I love you, Mysteria.

I lit one for the first time ever several weeks ago. It was for a very special person that I will forever hold close to me. I never really talk about him. We share a special and unique bond. Suffice it to say, he inspired my poem "The Yellow Mountains."
